I’m based in Johannesburg although I photograph weddings throughout South Africa. My interest in photography started from my special interest in photographing wildlife, especially raptors. Purely by chance I had an opportunity to photograph a friend’s wedding and thats when it all began…
I am a member of ICE Society created by Jerry Ghionis (www.jerryghionis.com/) a master photographer who was named an icon of imaging by Microsoft. With the ICE Society Jerry inpires and educates, basically shares his vast knowledge and experience each month. Keeping in touch with Jerry allows me to have my finger on whats hot and whats not ( according to Jerry of course, but he’s a legend ) and keeps me thinking about fresh new ideas.
I am inspired by Joe Buissink’s saying that “There is no such thing as a perfect image, only a perfect moment.” Does the perfect moment then create the perfect image? I believe so! Making you look amazing is a priority when I photograph your wedding but its not only about how you look, I also tell your story, I capture the moments, the detail, the emotion. My images are crafted to be romantic, timeless and beautiful.
