Hettie De Klerk is a well known South African artist and sculptor, her main mediums being bronze and ceramics.
ABOUT US
After a career as an educator, Hettie completed a course in ceramics at Wits Technicon.
Thereafter, she partook in several ceramic group exhibitions, and was the winner of the 1990 Department of Foreign Affairs exhibition in Pretoria. In 1991 she won the handwork division in the Corobrick Clayday competition. In 2002 she participated in a public sculpture project in the jan Marais Nature Reserve in Stellenbosch. The works in his brochure was photographed whilst on display at the Hettie de Klerk exhibition at Dorp Street Gallery in Stellenbosch during 2005.
