A professional art studio situated in Johannesburg Gauteng in the leafy suburb of Northcliff giving art classes . All classes are taught by the owner Cameron Annear who Graduated from The University of Witwatersrand in 1990 majoring in painting with a Ba(fa) .The 4 year degree was under the tutelage of Carel Nel , Penny Siopis , Clive Van Den Berg, Professor Alan Crump, Willem Strydom , Niels Coetzee, Walter Altman, Colin Richards , Margaret Voster. The vision of the studio is to receive formal tuition where picture making and all its elements are exposed to the student. The basis of all art making is to see. Seeing, not what you think you see. It is for that reason that drawing is the foundational vehicle, used to initiate a student.
Line ,colour contour and texture are all examined before a student chooses a medium in which to paint.
Cameron has designed a course which is in book form where an assessment of right brain integration and other exercises are suggested. While the book is prescriptive it encompasses the shortest journey between picking up a pencil for the first time to painting.
