Salomè Briers is a painter and likes to paint with thick paint and vigorous brush strokes.
ABOUT US
She was born in the sixties in the Boland District Paarl, South Africa and grew up on a wine farm where she got a lot of inspiration for her paintings.
She went to La Rochelle Girls School and then studied art at Cape Technicon. She currently lives in Bloubergstrand with her husband and two children and paints fulltime from her studio at home.
'Color is energy and definitely my biggest inspiration and most important tool. It is important that people can feel my work emotionally and physically and then identify with it'
She had numerous exhibitions in South Africa and has also exported works to as far as Australia, Europe, USA and North Africa etc.
