‘MY WORLD’ is Ceramic Factory’s Fall/Winter 2015 Collection and celebrates individuals that live their passion everyday. It’s this passion that creates the world of today and tomorrow.
‘MY WORLD’ is a first for Ceramic Factory. Collaborating with three local manufacturers in the Robertson Valley, the team has taken a multi-material approach exploring combinations of ceramics with glass, wood and steel with unexpected results.
In 2014 a local décor magazine referred to Ceramic Factory as follows: “The Fun Factory also does Ceramics”. Others have called them “nostalgic” and “trend setting”. These three themes of fun, nostalgia and trends cut to the very core of Ceramic Factory’s ethos and continue to be their inspiration. This is the very foundation of the MY WORLD collection. The new colour palette also takes its progressive cue from the right-now and a nostalgic nod to the past.
