Child's Play Therapy Centre is a psychology centre focused on promoting mental health and well-being. It is home to a team of Educational Psychologists and a Registered Counsellor that, together, provide a wide range of services to support individuals of all ages. All our practitioners are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and continue to develop their professional competence through Continuous Professional Development.
Our Educational Psychologists focus on the assessment, identification, and treatment of difficulties, disorders, and psychopathology. Assessment and identification of such barriers may be achieved through various psychological assessments and methods. Treatment or support of the identified difficulties may be implemented through a number of psychological techniques, methods, and approaches.
Our Registered Counsellor provides psychological and preventative interventions that focus on support and promote the enhancement of well-being. Her focus is on primary intervention and prevention to support the optimal development, flourishing, and well-being of all clients across their lifespan
