About Body Renewal
Body Renewal is an integral part of the Skin Renewal brand, which was founded in 2005 by Dr. Maureen Allem, who started the specialist aesthetic centre after several years of providing injectable aesthetic treatments such as Botox ® and dermal fillers to her patients.
In June 2009 the new Body Renewal brand was launched in response to a demand for specialised and more focused body related services and treatments. Treatment modalities such as Endermologie, VelaShape, Tripollar and Carboxytherapy formed the backbone of the new offering. In October 2009, the assets of “I Care for my Body” were acquired, which facilitated the introduction of additional technologies such as UltraShape ®, Alma Accent ™ and Althera PPx ® as well as the expansion of the Body Renewal brand into several additional Skin Renewal branches such as Sandton City, Irene, Parkhurst, Claremont and Rivonia.
The expansion and growth of the business has been facilitated by the dedication and expertise of an exceptional complement of doctors, therapists, nurses and support staff and Skin and Body Renewal have continued to attract amongst the best aesthetic staff in South Africa. All staff are fully trained in a wide range of technologies, products and therapies through a combination of distributor based training as well as our own in-house training and protocols.
Body Renewal will continue to research and implement the newest, best and most dependable new technologies and will continue to expand the Body Renewal brand across South Africa through partnership with likeminded aesthetic physicians, staff, distributors, suppliers and service providers.
