Payment & Delivery
The major benefit of purchasing any item on-line is the convenience factor. However, the extent of the convenience directly affects the total cost of purchasing the item(s). Stated in a meaningful way, if you pay on-line by credit card, the processing company charges a percentage of the transaction value. Similarly, if you choose an express delivery service, this delivery cost can be more than double that of an economy delivery service. Any business would need to adjust its prices in order cover these "hidden" costs and declare a profit on every transaction. This is common sense. However, there are ways to reduce these costs and save money.
Payment Options
Presently, we only offer the option of making an electronic transfer to our banking account or visiting the bank to make a direct deposit. There are no charges associated with this and as such, has been discounted in our pricing model.
Soon, we will also incorporate the option of making payments with your credit card on-line. Should you choose this option as a matter of convenience, the pricing of our products will be affected. Additionally, we will also offer an electronic EFT option via a 3rd party payment processing company. This option carries a minimal surcharge. Simply stated, paying us via direct deposit or 'internet banking' EFT, will keep our prices low.
Delivery Options
Your choice of delivery method does not affect the selling price of the items you wish to purchase, but it does have a significant effect on the total cost of your purchase. By default, we will select 'economy road freight' for your delivery, which is by far the cheapest (insured) option. Delivery will occur within a week. Should you wish to make use of an express service, we will gladly assist you. Be aware that in such an instance, delivery costs will more than double.
While many on-line businesses would like to keep this information a secret, we prefer to disclose to our customers as much information as possible. We want you to make an informed decision and be satisfied with your purchase!
