About Us
Adventure 'n Beyond has been running as a Christian Camping Ministry for over 17 years. At the end of 2004, Paul Grobler took over the operation of this ministry. Our vision is to assist the (church, school, youth group, corporate) community to live life, reaching their full potential and encouraging them to grow spiritually, socially, and physically through the use of Experiential Education principles in a safe, stimulating and adventurous setting. Adventure 'n Beyond’s Board, comprised of representatives of tertiary institutions, churches and the market place is there to provide insight and encouragement to the operations team.
Programs and Activities
At Adventure 'n Beyond we take learning out of the classroom, and make it hands-on. Experiential learning is extremely effective, and encompasses a wide range of learning outcomes, leading to academic, emotional, social and spiritual development. We will custom-design a course specifically to meet the objectives of your camp/programme and the needs of your group.
The unique settings of our various venues lends itself to activities focusing on the natural environment and adventure, but much more than this can be accomplished in the outdoor classroom.

Adventure 'n Beyond camp co-ordinators will put together and run the entire camp programme for you, choosing modules that will meet your specific requirements.
Partial Programmes
If you would like to run part of the camp programme yourself but require our expertise for some components of the programme, we will gladly arrange this with you.
Safety
Activities in the outdoors will always involve inherent risks, particularly when the focus is on adventure. However, we at Adventure 'n Beyond pride ourselves on the high standards of safety and care that we offer to campers. All adventure-based activities are supervised by appropriately qualified and responsible staff, and all facilitators hold a valid EFR first aid qualification.
