Fedglass Balustrades was started as a family business in 1984. Our main products were glass and mirrors, which was soon followed by decorative sandblasting.
Due to market demands and our experience in glass, balustrading followed, at first in brass and glass, and with market evolution, stainless steel was later introduced.
Today, we have grown in all departments, including manufacturing of all stainless steel components for the balustrade and architectural trade (having in the interim set up a fully-fledged CNC engineering shop).
Our decorative sandblasting unit has expanded to on site applications, be it sandblast vinyl or traditional sandblasting, with a finger-print resistant coating.
As for our mirror and glass enterprise, we are the sole importers and stockists of hand crafted antique mirror from Italy in a range of colours.
The balustrading division offers very competitively priced pool enclosures, in stainless steel, toughened safety glass and other non-corrosive finishes.
From designer mirrors, to our unique shelving system, suppliers of toughened safety glass, to glass designs by our creative team, we have it all – all under one roof!
PRODUCTS
BACKPAINTED GLASS
Clad your kitchen walls with painted glass Splashbacks, in a matching tone or create a statement with a contrasting colour. This is a hygienic and functional way of completing the kitchen. Any thickness or type of glass can be backpainted with GlassKote. It will not chip or peel off, and has been tested for its colourfastness and durability.
BALUSTRADES - FRAMELESS GLASS
Create an uninterrupted view, without compromising safety with our frameless glass balustrades. 12mm clear toughened safety glass is used in a variety of frameless solutions.
BALUSTRADES - NAUTICAL CABLE
All stainless steel balustrade with 4mm nautical stainless steel cable and tensioning components. From 4 to 6 strand modules, all in a standard 1000mm height. Also available in a kit form.
BALUSTRADES - STAINLESS STEEL & GLASS
304 grade stainless steel components and handrail, with 6 or 8mm toughened safety glass.
FRAMELESS SIDE MOUNT
Balustrade with polished stainless steel adjustable side mount brackets, securing the 12mm glass to create a classic look.
FRAMELESS FLOOR MOUNT
1 A & B) Frameless glass balustrade slotted into floor, with handrail supported by polished classical handrail bracket, through the glass.

3). Floor mounted balustrade combined with side mounted balustrade creates an architectural focal point.
DECORATIVE SANDBLASTING - SANDBLASTING
Fedglass has perfected the art of decorative sandblasting, on glass, mirrors, table tops or showers. Sandblasting can create privacy, or simply enhance an area. Choose from our extensive range of designs, or provide your own. Work can be done on site, or at our well equipped factory.
DECORATIVE SANDBLASTING - SANDBLAST VINYL
Sandblast vinyl is an increasingly popular alternative to on site sandblasting. There is no mess, does not fingerprint, and design limits are one's imagination! The vinyl used is extremely durable, but since it is not permanent, one CAN change it at a later stage. Applications include corporate logos, bathroom windows, front entrances, internal doors and more!

Fedglass has the sole agency for a range of handcrafted Italian antique mirrors. They are available insheet form, which can be processed to customer requirements. Colours include silver, blue, gold and others, all in the Antique finish.
