TINY HANDZ presents you with exciting basic Sign Language workshops and classes for:
Parents, Family members and Caregivers of hearing babies and toddlers.
Parents, Caregivers, Teachers, Therapist and those involved with babies or toddlers in the special need spectrum.
Caregivers and Medical Personnel working with patients (young or old) who have lost their speech (on short or long term) due to medical conditions or procedures.
This training program was put together in 2008 by the mother of a Deaf child, who has been through the process of hands and facial expression being the only tool for means of communication.
Recognised South African Sign Language (SASL) is taught during the work sessions. With each workshop, participants are presented with the first basic signs to teach their young ones or the person(s) involved.
This programme can also be used for those who wish to communicate with people in the Deaf community or other disabled people by means of Basic Sign Language.
