ABOUT US
Nestled in the heart of Kyalami you will find Horse Haven a teaching and livery yard where the emphasis is on FUN.
We have excellent facilities, consisting of 20 new barn-type stables, large jumping arena, dressage arena, lunge ring and fenced oval ring for novice riders. We also have access to varied outrides. Horses walk to shows at Kyalami Equestrian Park and Inanda Country Base. Horses and ponies at Livery receive five star care, with three meals a day, teff ad lib and are out all day in grassy paddocks.
The riding school has safe experienced horses and ponies. We teach all ages from 3 to 80. Younger children ride in Kids Haven, where better balance, motor skills and co-ordination are developed. From age 6 children ride in Horse Haven where more traditional riding skills are taught. When riders are ready, they are encouraged to attend competitive shows. Instructors provide help at shows and ponies can be hired. We are very active at Inter-Schools shows. Riders who wish to purchase a horse or pony will be assisted in making the correct choice.
Our instructors are experienced and enthusiastic about their teaching. They compete themselves in show jumping, dressage, eventing and equitation. We hope to offer vaulting in the near future.
