About Chartwell Stables
“Chartwell Stables is primarily a children’s stable yard with 150 children receiving weekly lessons to date. We specialize in teaching children from 4 – 16yrs of age and cater for beginners to competitive children in all disciplines.”
“Chartwell Stables, which was established in 1987, is owned and run by Shirley Sadleir, a veterinary nurse by background, who has spent her entire life with horses in general and riding schools in particular. There are at the moment 46 horses of whom 16 are liveries and 30 are wonderful riding school ponies.”
