There are currently two Dance Zone studios running in Gauteng, one in Bryanston and the other in Fairland, Johannesburg, South Africa. Cindy Foggitt runs the Bryanston studio and Genetia King runs the Fairland studio.
Dance Zone situated in Bryanston, JHB, was originally known as La Rhythm Dance Studio, and it is here that Cindy Foggitt was trained as an amateur. Genetia King bought La Rhythm Dance Studio when the previous owner immigrated and Cindy finished her amateur grades under Genetia. Cindy taught within the studio for 6 years before buying in as a partner in 2003. Dance Zone Bryanston has become a premier dance venue within South Africa offering a number of styles and first class facilities.
The Fairland Studio previously known as the Genetia King Freestyle Dance Studio was established in 1985 as part of a lifelong dream. Genetia had a passion for dancing from a very young age with the growing ambition of one day opening her own dance studio. The name was later changed to Dance Zone in the year 2000 when the studio relocated to Fairland.
Dance Zone consists of an extensive, comprehensive staff of highly qualified dance teachers in various styles. Teachers are qualified through the S.A.D.T.A (South African Dance Teachers Association), I.D.T.A (International Dance Teachers Association) as well as R.A.D (Royal Academy of Dance)
Dance Zone has trained a number of South African Freestyle Champions through the years with a comprehensive competitive program. We also offer medal grade/exam work as well as social dancing catering for ALL dancers levels and needs. Dance Zone prides itself on professionalism and service to the dancing community unlike any other studio within South Africa! Welcome to the Dance Zone World!
