ABOUT US
When Ben Milner’s Tax Consulting Services was started in September 1984, we initially focused on tax-related matters.
By 2001, we had expanded by adding a wide range of additional services. We changed our name to Ben Milner’s Consulting Services while retaining our BMTC logo.
In 2003, BMTC was converted to a private company. We also established a share equity trust to assist staff members to acquire an equity stake and to further our employment equity and black economic empowerment objectives.
Our staff complement has grown to 16 full-time staff members.
BMTC has the following departments:

- Consulting and Legal Services
- Payroll
- Bookkeeping
- Accounting
- Financial Planning and Investments
We believe the growth of our client base can be attributed to:
- Our focus on our clients as our first priority
- BMTC’s directors and staff being up to date with the latest legislation

- An emphasis on acquiring further formal qualifications
- Strict confidentiality and privacy
BMTC is committed to employment equity and skills development. We provide learnerships and bursaries to staff members from designated employment equity groups and will continue this practice in the future.
