Rietvlei Zoo Farm is the perfect place to have a family picnic or spend the day in the Outdoors! Bring your picnic basket, chairs, tables, umbrella/gazebo, picnic blanket and enjoy a day of fun and relaxing!
You can picnic or bring your own braai or hire from the farm office. Bring your own camping chairs, tables, gazebos and umbrellas and find a tranquil spot under the trees or around the wetlands.
Farm Rules
Day Visitors for Picnic Area and Lapas:
The Farm is open daily strictly from 08h00 to 17h30.
No day visitors are allowed to enter the Farm before 08h00.
All day visitors must exit the Farm by 17h30.
The Farm Office is open daily from 08h00 to 17h00 Monday to Sunday.
Day visitor vehicles are to park in the parking area at the front gate.
Only vehicles that pay R30 extra for their car will be allowed to park in the picnic area.
It is compulsory to display your picnic access in your windscreen of your vehicle at all times.
Day visitors are only allowed in the recreation areas and picnic areas.
No visiting or driving around the farm beyond the designated points.
