ABOUT US
Aisha had obtained her Bachelor of Communication Pathology degree at the University of Pretoria in 2002. Aisha has an additional licensing in cochlear implantation after successfully completing a postgraduate course at the University of Stellenbosch in 2006. She furthermore obtained her master’s degree in 2012 at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Aisha has attended an international course in cochlear implantation at the University of Leiden, The Netherlands and an international cochlear implantation training workshop in Melbourne, Australia.
She has worked as a clinician at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital for several years during which time she was an instrumental team member in the development and launch of the first ever fully government funded cochlear implant programme in South Africa.
Aisha has, and continues on a part-time basis to lecture and provide clinical tutoring to students at the Speech Pathology Department within the School of Human and Community Development at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Aisha is a member of a variety of committees and boards both on a professional and personal capacity enhancing her community involvement.
Aisha has presented at national and international congresses and symposiums. She appeared as a guest speaker on the local TV talk show, Great Expectations. She continues to engage in research and maintains her continuous professional development:

WE ASSESS AND PROVIDE TREATMENT FOR SPEECH- LANGUAGE- AND VOICE DISORDERS:

We conduct Speech-Language and Hearing screenings within educational settings and favour collaborative relationships within the multidisciplinary medical and educational team.
We conduct assessments for medico-legal and workman’s compensation purposes based on referrals by the legal fraternity.
Supplier of internationally renowned hearing aid brands such as Oticon, Phonak, Siemens, Unitron, etc as well as a variety of Hearing Aid battery brands available for purchase.
