Our aim at Limberlost is to provide a happy, nurturing environment for your child. We achieve this by making use of games, art, music and movement activities. The emphasis is on learning through fun so that each child is encouraged to reach his / her own unique potential. They should leave Limberlost as confident, secure individuals ready to tackle primary school. We hope to instil in them greater independence and the ability to co-operate with others.
We emphasise good manners, appropriate behaviour, and respect for others. Routine forms an important part of our daily programme as this provides a framework within which children can explore their own potential as they feel secure.
Your co-operation is extremely important. Co-operation between the school and the home is essential for the "whole child" to develop. The skills, values and interests which children develop at pre-school remain with them and influence the rest of their lives.
