Dudley W Burnett has been in construction virtually all his working life. National Fireplace – SA Fireplace – Burtim Group of Companies (Burtim Rooms / Burtim Pools / Burtim Bars) – File-a-Way Systems – Bene Chemicals and now Cottage Investments; are amongst his entrepreneurial collection.
Whilst at the helm of the Burtim Group of Companies, Dudley Burnett established himself by being Chairman of the Swimming Pool Section of the Master builders Association and developing their swimming pool contract. He was also responsible for introducing the Consumer Council to the MBA, establishing himself as honest, reliable and a business man of integrity (reference available).
Dudley Burnett was frequently called upon by the media for comment and subsequently listed in ‘Who’s Who’ in recognition for his exemplary work in the Building Industry (press reports and reference available).
Whilst in Botswana, Dudley Burnett established himself credible working with the Botswana Railways / Botswana Defence Force / University of Botswana / Botswana Telecoms / Various Government Hospitals / Gaborone Private Hospital.
Recreationally; Dudley is an accredited P.A.D.I Staff Instructor/Medical Aid Instructor/Oxygen Instructor with numerous specialities to his credit. He is also a I.A.N.T.D. Technical ‘Trimix’ diver with ‘Deep diving’ and ‘Cave Diving’ speciality ratings, having logged over 500 dives. He is also a member of N.A.U.I.
