The NOBLECOURT affix is co-owned by Ann Robinson and Joy Tyrrell. Ann started showing and breeding Scottish Terriers in the early 1980’s under the affix “BRORO”. In conjunction with the Scotties, she also bred and showed Bernese Mountain dogs.
Joy showed and bred Persian cats under the affix “KOOLCATZ” from 1990. She subsequently became an all breeds feline judge, with the exception of “Foreign’s”. She stopped showing cats in 2003.
Their combined love of the Pekingese breed led to the acquisition of their first Peke bitches, Shamwari and Sushi, from the ‘Calmady’ kennel in the Cape, Subsequently, superlative blood lines were acquired from the ‘Sansaw’ kennel in Gauteng, South Africa. To compliment these breeding lines, a dog (Sunrise Dragon Sunny Sky of Noblecourt (aka Kinko)) and bitch (Sunrise Dragon Linda of Noblecourt (aka Linda)) were imported from “Sunrise Dragon Kennel” in Moscow, Russia
