You might be wondering who created this site. I took up knitting and crochet in 2005. I started the crafts after seeing a classmate in school knitting a scarf during class. I picked up some needles, hooks, yarn, a "how to knit," and a "how to crochet" book. The rest is history.
As I started making projects, I became frustrated with how difficult it was to find a pattern for a project. The most frustrating part was going to a website with a few patterns listed but not being able to preview a picture of the pattern. In my (limited) free time, I decided to embark upon the journey to create this website. One of my other hobbies besides knitting and crochet is website creation.
My intenion is for the website to be a place anyone can find (free) patterns for knitting and crochet projects through a quick, useful, and intuitive search interface at no charge. I employ JavaScript AJAX technology to make the searching quick and simple. Give it a try if you haven't already.
