At Tools4wood.co.za we love woodworking. There is nothing more rewarding than applying that final coat of finish onto a project, stepping back, and admiring your handiwork. As far as we are concerned, it is one of the best hobbies anyone could enjoy.
Woodworking, however, can seem complicated. There are many different joints, sanding techniques and finishing processes available, and it is often difficult to choose the best one. Knowing which tools are needed for the job can also be challenging. Our website gives you access to an online forum where you can receive and share advice, tips and ideas for making your projects a success. You can either ask a question or provide a solution to a fellow woodworker’s problem. This is a great way to interact with the vast woodworking community in South Africa.
In addition, we have published a variety of woodworking articles written by authors ranging from enthusiastic customers all the way through to professional woodworkers. Each gives their own experience and advice on how best to start and complete a project. Project plans, tips and tricks, product reviews and discussions are available to the casual browser. Of course tools make up a big part of woodworking. From the simple hand saw, through to a computerised table saw, there are many different options available to all woodworkers. Our aim is to make all woodworking tools from around the world locally available through our website. Together with tools, we supply all the consumables and accessories to complete your project. If you come across any tools which we do not supply and would like us to bring into South Africa, please let us know and we will be happy to source them for you.
