It all started when Hansie Prinsloo, owner of Duncan Yard, fell in love with a few old dilapidated buildings on the corner of Duncan and Prospect street. After Rhoda from Garden Bleu asked him to renovate one of the buildings for her business, the idea developed to bring an extraordinary shopping experience to the neighbourhoods of Pretoria. The Yard, as it was formally known, was established in 2003. Over the years many construction changes and alterations came about mostly as a result of requests from tenants and as the need for different shops became a reality. This small shopping centre offers merchandise, delectable food and exclusive furniture seldom found in one location.
Situated in Hatfield, Pretoria, it has been described as a hidden gem. A place where cobble stone pathways lead you from one little shop to another and draw you further and further into another world. We invite you to come and discover Duncan Yard for yourself.
