Apollo Solar Technology (Pty) Ltd is a sustainable/alternate energy company. Its main focus is the supply of Low and High Pressure Solar Water Heaters.The company commenced business in 2007, with on-going South African Bureau of Standards, Sustainable Energy South Africa and Eskom approval And certifications of all products, with inclusion in the Eskom DSM programme.
Apollo Solar Technology has a vast database of P.I.R.B and Eskom (DSM) Solar Water Heating qualified installers. The dealer network comprises of over 100 companies. Over past three years solar water geysers and vacuum tubes were supplied for Government tenders, commercial companies, industry, mines and private households.A manufacturing plant is operational in Limpopo Province, other plants are envisaged for Kwa-Zulu Natal and Free State, in line with the Governments job/growth development plan.
Apollo trains and employs two local community members with each company installer in every region where Apollo Solar Technology has been nominated to supply and install. Apollo has its own training academy to certify and deploy experienced solar water heater local accredited installers. The company identifies suitable local installers to form small medium enterprises, in order to cater for the constant maintenance issues on completion of projects.
The Apollo Solar Technology systems have been deployed throughout South Africa with orders from the neighboring states being recently received. Due to the quality and job creation initiatives by Apollo we now have agencies in all the S.A.D.C states.As mentioned before we employ qualified, professional and reliable installers who in turn train locals, to create a database for local upliftment of communities, job creation, skills transfer and social beneficiation.
