WHO WE ARE?
We are a family of ordinary people who have recognised the need for radical salvation and restoration in our lives as found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We have dedicated our lives to loving Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and to loving the people that he loves so that others may share in this salvation and restoration.
We gather together to worship, study God’s Word and fellowship on a regular basis, both corporately as a church as well as in our homes in various Life Groups.
We meet at the Modderfontein Town Hall which is in Casino Road.
HOW WE OPERATE?
Our Vision: Exalting our King and Advancing His Kingdom is what drives us forward and galvanises us into action.
How we function: When we come to know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, we all go through some form of cycle, of moving from being Reborn to being Formed into Jesus’s image, to Growing in maturity in Christ so that we can in turn also Serve him and others. Therefore our day to day functions in Church on the Way mirror this process by structuring our efforts into Finding, Connecting, Caring and Equipping people so that we can all share in this incredible cycle of restoration.
Our Values: The Values reflect the culture and lifestyle that underpins how we go about our day to day work.
We sincerely attempt to do all of the above in a way that is focussed, yet flexible.
