ABOUT US
Our Nursery Group consists of three indigenous plant retail nurseries, one wholesale nurseryand a landscaping company that only supply indigenous plants. Our Nursery at the Garden, at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden has been operating since 2005. Our Nursery at the Farm, at the Weltevreden Farm on John Vorster road was opened in January 2010. Our Nursery at Stepping Stones on Honey Dew West road is currently under construction and will soon be open for business.
Life Creations is our landscaping company. Our Nursery Group is in partnership with a wholesale nursery at the Hakunumatata Conference Center in Honeydew.
Our Nursery Groups mission is to promote South African indigenous plants and the wonderful value they add to gardens all over the country. It saddens me that we find so many guesthouses in South Africa with English gardens and that many home owners practice water-efficient gardening, but with South American cacti instead of our own indigenous Aloes, Euphorbias, Vygies and other South African indigenous water-wise plants. Some good news is that all over Joburg I notice that the Parks Department has recognized its value and is creating beautiful low-maintenance indigenous gardens along the main roads.
