LABELS:
Self Adhesive Labels:
Lamination of a substrate adhesive and a release liner. Popular in a variety of industries, ranging from food and beverage, to cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
Wrap-around labels:
A 360 degree label that adheres to itself with a hot melt applicator. Used predominantly in the beverage industry, this lower cost form of labeling is printed on paper and synthetic materials.
Shrink labels:
Another 360 degree label designed to fit awkward and irregular shaped packaging. The label, made from PVC and PET, is applied with a shroud and run through a heat tunnel - which shrinks it up to 70 per cent – allowing it to conform to the shape of the packaging.
TAGS:
Flexible tags:
Made from polypropylenes, this tag can either be sewed or tied on to products that cannot accommodate labels. Flexible tags are most widely used in agriculture and for bulk foods.
Rigid plastic tags:
Sturdier and more robust, these tags are used in the industrial sector and can be attached to gas cylinders or to plants in nurseries.
Rigid metal tags:
The strongest of the rigid tags, used for steel strapping or wire attachments.
