In the late 1990's, the owners Chris and Ansonet Barnard had the vision to create a home for a guest to escape from the demanding city life. They are committed to their motto “Guaranteed Hospitality”.
Adem was born on 9 September 1999, on a commercial farm on the well known northern slope of the Magaliesberg range. The farm is producing export fruit, vegetables, pasture and sheep. The Guests can really experience the tranquility and beauty of a place in a safe environment. A firsthand experience of the farm life is a reality.
Adem's name means "Breath of fresh air". New strength and breath, is what the guests will take home after their stay at this entity in the North West Province.
Since 2003, Adem Guest Farm has a 4 Star rating obtained at the South African Tourism Council, and is also affiliated with the AA.
Adem Guest Farm is located 17 km east from Rustenburg in the North West Province. The farm's location is very central, only one and a half hours drive from O.R. Thambo International Airport, one hour from Pretoria and Lanseria Airport, 65 km from Sun City and the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve.
Adem caters for everyone's needs, fully equipped en-suite bedrooms, private entrances and secure covered parking. Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the rooms as well as all the amenities needed when you are away from home. A honeymoon suite, spacious self – catering units and both one and two bedroom apartments are available on request. A real farmhouse breakfast can be enjoyed early in the morning. Three-course dinner is also offered on request. A Miniature zoo with domesticated farm animals, which can be fed at times, complements the experience.
