Kobus started his hunting career at a very young age in Namibia where he honed his exceptional skills and ability to hunt plains game. His experience in tracking can only be commented as remarkable, having learnt from the best and exercising it continuously.
He furthered his hunting skills by successfully qualifying to guide and hunt the Dangerous Six - Elephant, Rhino, Hippo, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard. He also qualified himself to hunt Dangerous Game with the Bow. As a qualified Taxidermist Kobus also ensures that the field preparation of your trophies receives all the attention it needs for a quality mount. Kobus is also a member of the Professional Hunters Association of South Africa (PHASA).
Kobus passion for wildlife got him involved in Game Management, which included culling and sustainable utilization of excess numbers of game. He has also been involved with the advance training of senior sport hunters in South Africa, the hosting of tracking courses and is recognized for his ability to handle large groups in a professional manner by various prominent Private Game Reserves throughout South Africa.
