Mimmic Gallery and Studio is home to the ancient craft of Repoussé, also referred to as repujado, pewter work or metal embossing. We are a design, teaching and manufacturing studio with a passion for creativity. The studio buzzes with activity and is the hub of creativity, filled with love, laughter and inspiration. While Mary Ann buries her head in design work and creative spaces, Michelle deals with the business side of things, making Mary Ann's designs come to life and getting the products on our shelves so that our clientele can reap the benefits of our creativity.
Pewter
Mary Ann and Michelle in partnership with clients, design bespoke pewter works for corporate identity and framed 3-D works of art for private homes and corporate décor.
We are importers of lead free sheet pewter and suppliers of craft and pewter related tools and consumables. We supply trade as well as retail.
Our teaching studio is a fun and creative space where students attend workshops and courses. This is where we share our inspiration and our passion for creating.
Design
Our design and manufacturing department is passionately dedicated to creating new ranges of exciting gifts and craft items that are exclusive to our studio. Lenny Laser moved into our studio in 2009 and with his unbelievable capabilities has opened manufacturing doors of note for us! We design and manufacture stencils, craft kits, greeting cards, home decor and arty creative gifts. This department is blossoming and we have enormous and unbelievably exciting plans for its growth. WATCH THIS SPACE WITH BOTH EYES!!! GREAT THINGS ARE DEVELOPING!!!
