Otto Marketing was established in 1990 by Barry Culligan as an agent for Hirose Electric Co, one of the world�s leading manufacturers of interconnect solutions. Since then the company has continued year on year. In 2009 Otto was appointed as the agent for Simcom Wireless Solutions, the largest manufacturer of wireless modules in Asia.
In 2010 Otto was appointed as the SA agent for G-Top, Taiwan's leading designer and manufacturer of GPS modules. In Jan 2011 Otto Marketing was appointed as a distributor for Samtec, a world renowned connector manufacturer.
Our product range includes complete GSM and GPS solutions, GPRS and 3G modems, RF cables and antennas, connector products, cables, cable assemblies, USB cables and connectors, memory card sockets (SIM, SD, micro and mini SD etc) , cable assemblies, termination and test equipment for cabling, buzzers, and PCB accessories.
Otto Marketing and Otto Wireless Solutions are ISO9000 certified, ensuring consistent quality and on-time deliveries. Otto is also a member of the IPC and strives to meet IPC level 2 or 3 on all cable assembly products. Most of our assembly staff have received IPC training. Otto is fully compliant with the best quality practices, and performs a 100% testing of all manufactured cable assemblies with state of the art test equipment.
In addition Otto Marketing is a level 4 (75%) compliant BEE certified company.
We offer our clients custom cable assemblies ranging from RF to heavy current and automotive harnesses. Our production facility is equipped with specialised wire and cable preparation machinery. Our main emphasis is on quality of crimp and termination and this ensures that our products survive even the most hostile environments. Our operators and assembly line staff have over 15 years experience in customised cable assemblies.
Although specialised in medium to high volume manufacture, Otto also offers a JIT 24 to 48 hour turnaround time for small runs for evaluation purposes (provided that the components are in stock).
