Berrybright kosher guest house is situated in Highlands North, a quiet suburb in the heart of Johannesburg, central to all highways and a 20 minute drive from key shopping centres such as Sandton and Eastgate, the City Centre and Oliver Tambo International Airport.
The B&B is located in the heart of Johannesburg’s Jewish community within walking distance to over 30 shuls in the Glenhazel, Fairmount and Sydneham areas, as well as a 10 minute drive to most of the kosher restaurants and deli’s in Johannesburg.
It is directly across the road from Sydenham Shul which is renowned for its international choir, dynamic Rabbi (Rabbi Yossi Goldman) and chazzan Yudi Cohen (a Shabbos treat).

Whilst the guest house is kosher all guests are most welcome.
There are three guest suites ranging in size and luxury as well as a private executive suite. All rooms include satellite television, bar-fridges, kettle, tea tray and a Shabbos lamp.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy a general lounge with a large TV screen (not on Shabbos and Yom Tov’s) and a dining area. Candle lighting facilities for Shabbos and Yom Tov are available on request.
Rooms are strictly non smoking. For those who enjoy smoking an open patio is available.
In order to settle guests in comfortably, check in erev Shabbos and Yom Tov is not later than 45 minutes before candle lighting.
