Co-owners Zani Nel and Camilla Truter both studied Graphic Design at The Open Window and soon recognized similarities in their dreams, passions and work ethic. Both dedicated to perfection and addicted to creativity, both madly in love with the idea of expressing who they are through their work, both aspiring to be free to create, design and bring new and original ideas to life - they often shared big plans over small cups of coffee. Little did they know, what started out as a dare-to-dream lunch chat turned into a burning desire, an idea that did not want to be put in a box and packed away. Appelifi is no longer the lunchtime dream; it is now the home of two young talented designers oozing enthusiasm, creativity and originality.
