Nu-Song was founded by Hester de Villiers in 1996. She studied at TUKS & TUT and pursued a professional career even though her heart has always been drawn towards music & teaching.
In 1994 Hester resigned from SA Breweries in order to pursue her passion for people & music. She started teaching music at The School of Music in Polokwane and soon after that decided to start her own Music School.
When it came to choosing a name for the school the name Nu-Song was chosen because her vision was to have a music school that is different, one that would focus on promoting a love for music.
Over the years Nu-Song has grown tremendously and at present Nu-Song has 8 coaches and over 200 students and is growing on a weekly basis.
The success of Nu-Song is attributed to the fact that we treat Students as individuals and we work out training programs according to the Students' needs.
Nu-Song's Coaches are determined to see Students develop and maintain a love for Music, Singing, Art, Drama & Public Speaking.
