We are deeply committed to delivering quality education to the pupils of our school as we enrich the value of our pupils' schooling. The learning at school is centered around our VIsion, Pledge and Mission Statements. We actively seek to rach out to every child so that they will be citizens of good character, high morals and integrity.
Principals’ Message
A.May all our children, parents, staff and supporters be blessed with health, wealth and happiness throughout 2013!
B.We have enrolled 841 beautiful children and they were all in classes busy with educational activities within 70 minutes after the school started on the first day.
C.Welcome to our new teachers (see the school newsletter).
D.As you may be aware, Mrs. Rita Reeves has retired at the end ofWe miss her and so we have asked her to invigilate classes in the absence of teachers. We will also make use of her wisdom in parental and child guidance. She will always be a treasured friend of the school.
E.In the interim a meaningful number of improvements to the school have been completed:
a.Totally new roofs for the Jack Ballard Hall and Finance offices.
b.Repaired shade netting for the swimming pool.
c.Paving of parking areas to stop dust in classrooms.
d.New classroom furniture have been purchased for the grade sevens.
e.The After School Care Centre, as well as class rooms have been fitted with security gates and burglar bars.
f.Stormwater channels repaired/replaced.
g.Jack Ballard hall repaired and painted.
h.Garden at school front gate revamped.
i.Sportfield deweeded and composted.
j.Trees and shrubs pruned.
k.New plants.
l.New catch fence behind soccer posts – Jacob street side.
m.Hall steps carpeted.
n.Hall railings painted.
o.School standard/banner framed and hung on the back wall of the hall underneath the cross.
p.New ICT projector purchased for the hall.
q.Piano tuned.
r.Giant chess set purchased.
s.Paving at After School Centre completed.
t.Curtains have been made for interview rooms and General Assistants’ quarters.
F.During 2013 we will focus on the following:
a.Continuous improvement of academic results – especially in Mathematics, Sciences and Language.
b.Teaching ethics, morals, respect, internal motivation, good behaviour, care and consideration to our children.
c.Assisting our parents by sharing parenting skills and good practise to the benefit of our children.
d.To unite parents and staff as parents.
e.To further improve the facilities at the school.
f.To strive for excellence.
