Limousine & Chauffeur Transportation was formed in 1997 by Bill Blair. The motivation behind the start-up was when a client requested a Stretch Limousine for a function, when no Limousines were available in the country, Bill saw the market for this and today we are the leading Limousine Company in Johannesburg.
It was also then noted by Bill that there was the need for Chauffeur Drive in and around the Johannesburg/Metropolitan area focusing specifically on safe, reliable, affordable and compatible transport to the Corporate Market.
In order to insure the safety and protection of our passengers, Limousine & Chauffeur Transportation complies with all the necessary insurance requirements. We have passenger liability but do not offer insurance for personal items. Upon request we can issue copies of the relevant insurance cover.
Limousine and Chauffeur Transportation is the only South African member of the National Limousine Association, which is based in the United States. We abide by their code of conduct and principles, and have the advantage of keeping up to date with our industry from fellow NLA members around the world.
Our Chauffeurs have been handpicked and selected to ensure that a professional and unequaled standard is insured. Once trained to our specific standard, which would include Chauffeur etiquette, driving techniques (Offensive & Defensive Driving skills) as well as protocol when dealing with Corporate or private clients they are then given the final approval by Professionally trained personnel. All our staff sign a confidentiality clause to protect client privacy.
Limousine & Chauffeur Transportation has a state of the art reservations system. We operate from a fully enhanced reservation system that is networked with our reservation staff, dispatch and billing departments. Our clientele need not repeat details such as credit card details, personal choices in chauffeur or amenities as each client has a unique account within the reservation system. We guarantee you fast, courteous and competent service twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
