 Marieta Kemm is a Gauteng-based photographer with a natural talent and passion for photography.
Her interest in photography began in her early teens and it became a serious hobby whilst attending University obtaining a Bachelors degree in Psychology.
Over the years Marieta attended various part-time courses through the National College of Photography, affording her the skills to begin her journey in becoming a professional freelance photographer.
At the end of 2008 she left corporate life to become a full-time student at the National College, now part of Vega the Brand Communication School. She graduated top five of her class in obtaining a Higher Certificate in Photography with distinction.
From January 2010 Marieta has been operating as a sole proprietor in her photographic business photobymkd. Since then she has built a sound business with a good reputation for quality and efficiency, whilst maintaining a high creative standard.
Marieta has a particular passion for 'people photography' hence a large part of her photography centers around people and important events in their lives i.e., weddings, portraits and events. She has also distinguished herself as a product/commercial phtographer which includes her second passion, food photography.
Although photography is her livelihood, it is first and foremost her passion which distingueshes her and the way she interacts with her clients.
