Established in 1990, West Power Steering specialises in the repair of manual steering (rack-and-pinion) and power steering (rack-and-pinion, boxes, pumps and pipes) units and the repair of hydraulic units (porta-powers, jacks) in the greater Gauteng area.

What sets us apart from our competitors is the comprehensive 12 month guarantee on all work done; the same guarantee that you would receive from national suppliers for new units, but at a fraction of the price and we manufacture all our own high pressure seals which have been patented.
We also offer a supply and fit service at a minimal fee.
Typically we offer a 2 - 48 hour turn around for the repairs of your old units.

What is Reconditioning?
Reconditioning a power steering rack, box or pump is a process whereby the used steering unit is carefully cleaned (sand blasted and washed), stripped and rebuilt using new low and high pressure seals and then tested.
