The furniture we make embodies an understated reference to nature, creating clean but sensual, organic forms. Fundamental to every piece we manufacture is the genuine interest in the user and in its functionality and most importantly respect for the materials and an ideal of simplification to create honest and beautiful pieces.
The driving force behind starting the business was to create well crafted, sustainable and contemporary solid teak furniture. Being more expensive than most other woods, teak furniture has become something of a status symbol. Not only is it common for teak furniture to last 70 years, it is also common to pass down such furniture to future generations as an heirloom. So many products are currently mass produced and lack quality and durability.
For me it is important that every product we buy or manufacture and present to you is something unique, well made and of excellent quality - Tanja Hansen
