History
iSpy was established in 1981 and for the past 20 years has been owned and managed by Alida Visagie. Alida completed a National Diploma in Fine Arts, majoring in graphic and printing methods. Her areas of specialization were printmaking, screen printing (serigrafie), graphic design, sculpture, photography, painting and art history.
Alida has won three international awards.
Until 2005, iSpy and the production line were one entity. At the beginning of 2006, however, the entire production line, including the machinery, was handed over to iSpy’s employees as part of a process of empowerment.
Current Structure
After six years the independent workshop is running smoothly, with the main focus on screen printing. iSpy takes care of all graphic preparation, client liaison, marketing and quality control on all relevant orders, working closely with trusted suppliers of either stock or other media.
Profile
Over the years iSpy has developed an extensive range of products and services and now offers a “FULL-SERVICE” option to clients. Clients’ expectations with regards to their specific branding requirements are given priority from the moment of conceptualization until fulfilment of every aspect thereof.
While iSpy is a small company in structure, it offers an exceptionally extensive network that caters for big and small runs. Clients may rest assured that at iSpy all orders are produced in a timely manner and at the right price.
