Property Law
Jolandie Kassebaum is the director responsible for this department and Hannes Erasmus assists her. Hannes travels to the Deeds Office in Johannesburg and Jolandie to the Pretoria Deeds Office on a daily basis and the personally monitors and attends to the actual registration of every transaction. This expedites the registering process of the various transactions.
We have two Conveyancers and one Notary Public with a staff complement of 3 senior secretaries. Our conveyancing department has years of experience and expertise in various aspects of the Property Law including registration of servitudes, townships development- and registrations.
We are on the panels of Absa Bank, Standard Bank, Firstarand Bank and Nedbank.
Litigation and Collection Department
The directors in this department in Randfontein are Danie de Beer and Willie van der Walt whereas Sieg Kruger is in the Westonaria office. Hendrik Grobler assists them.
Our litigation department is equipped to provide a wide spectrum of litigation services including debt collecting and general litigation in the different divisions of the Supreme Court of South Africa, the Magistrate’s Courts as well as the other tribunals and acts as prosecutors and presiding officers in disciplinary hearings.
We act on behalf of various corporate clients such as Ranfontein Estates Limited, Gold Fields of South Africa Ltd, Nola a division of Foodcorp Ltd, Platinum Mine and various financial institutions. We are also on the panel of attorneys of the Local Councils of Ranfontein and Westonaria and acted for the former Western Gauteng Services Council as their attorneys for many years and currently for the West Rand District Municipality. We also act for various hospitals and doctors whose work inter alia includes collection of bad debts. We are also on the panel of attorneys for Legal-I, an initiative of the Northern Provinces Law Society, Legal & Tax services, Legal Wise and the Legal Aid Board where clients are referred to us.
Labour Law Department
Willie van der Walt and Hendrik Grobler heads up this department and are responsible for providing a wide range on labour assistance to our clients, that includes, acting as chair persons in disciplinary hearings, wage negotiations with employees and unions, appearing in various bargaining counsels, including the CCMA, NBCRFI, ELC, MIBCO, Restaurant, Catering and Allied Trades to name a few. We also assist our clients with urgent Labour applications in regard to strikes and lockouts. We also appear and oppose application in the Labour Court, and Labour Appeals Court.
