What does a Sport Physio do differently?
During your first consultation they aim to determine the cause of the problem by doing an extensive assessment and examination of movements. “Hands-on” is their preferred method of treatment, hand in hand with self management education to teach you how to treat and relieve your own pain. Their aim is not to treat the symptoms of pain, but rather to treat the cause of the problem in order to prevent future reoccurrence and improve your performance to get you back on the sport field.
