Sam Rego is the managing director of Ceramic World and established the business in 2005. Having been very instrumental in building two of the largest tile consortiums in Southern Africa, the Ceramic World concept was born of three factors; to offer a more exclusive range of product, improve the shopping experience for the customer and offer a range of services not usually associated with tile stores but critical to a professional result.

At Ceramic World, you can be assured that the tiles and baths you see are not the same as our competitors, they are sourced from more ‘boutique' International suppliers with smaller runs of customised designs. Being larger stockists of porcelain, natural and décor tiles means that you are not buying your average ceramic tile, (see individual categories) but let it be said that if you are comparing apples with apples when it comes to quality, size, absorbency, strength and grade, you will not find a better price for the same tile.

The expansive workbenches allow you to lay out combinations of tiles, colours and finishes and the bright, naturally lit stores keep colours true and precise.

Our fully inclusive installation service is unique and offers peace-of-mind while guaranteeing a more professional result. Our installation teams are quality controlled, they ensure that you have the correct tiles, the best accessories, the right amount of tiles, and the safety of a professional team inside your home as opposed to the risks associated with adhoc labour. Employing casual labour increases the risk of theft, damages and a badly managed site whereas the Ceramic World team will ensure the installation process is executed as timeously and cleanly as possible. We also guarantee our work and if we break tiles while installing, we will replace them.
