Our group
Oticon designs and manufactures both hearing solutions for adults, and specialized paediatric hearing aids, while Oticon Medical produces bone-anchored hearing solutions.

Our products are sold through sales offices in 22 countries and some 80 independent distributors worldwide.

Our way of working
Test panels, end-user visits, in-depth interviews and focus groups are some of the most important research tools we use to gather information about users’ needs and everyday lives.
Our test-user panel includes more than 1,000 users, and a group of test-users are attached to each product development cycle, and are involved from the analysis phase, right through to product testing.

Each year, Oticon invests a substantial proportion of annual sales and turnover into research and development activities.
Among our many firsts are DigiFocus (world’s first fully digital hearing device), MultiFocus (world’s first fully automatic), Adapto (world’s first with artificial intelligence) and most recently Agil, which is Oticon’s most sophisticated hearing solution to date.
Oticon supports all products with a selection of interactive multi-media materials to guide and assist the professionals dealing with our products, and the people using our hearing care solutions.

Oticon is today amongst the three largest providers of hearing care solutions.
Since 1991, we have won well over 20 awards for corporate and developmental achievements.
As a part of William Demant Holding, Oticon is listed on NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen.
Despite the challenging financial environment, William Demant Holding has been able to declare a turnover of DKK 6.9 billion and an operating profit of DKK 1.4 billion in the Annual Report of 2010.
