Heart Art studio is a spacious environment located in a tranquil, creative art village: Duncan Yard, Hatfield. You will find us in the loft of Fient Lifestyle Gallery where you are met by the welcoming smell of freshly brewed coffee and an inviting atmosphere.
Heart Art studios teach students of all skill levels from novice to expert
Heart Art Studio offers a creative environment in which you can develop and advance your visual and artistic skills. We offer courses in Drawing, Painting and Printmaking. These take place in the forms of Graphite Drawing, Colour Pencil, Charcoal, Oil Painting, Acrylic painting, Lino cut, etching and embossing as well as textile printing.
The skills taught are presented in a realistic style – once mastered, students are encouraged to expand and develop a signature style of their own.
 Classes are mainly taught by me, Karin van Rooyen. I hold a B-Tech Fine Arts degree and a Post Graduate Education Diploma.
I have thirteen years of teaching experience and Heart Art studio is the culmination of a passion for fine art, excellence in skills and creativity and a love for the subject.
