The Shaolin Martial Art Centre was founded by Grand master Leo Sebregts in 1977. Since then, the Shaolin Martial Arts Centre has trained in excess of 30 000 students of all nationalities, races and creeds, in traditional Chinese Martial Arts / wushu. There are currently 6 Shaolin Martial Art Centre's situated in the Republic of South Africa, located in Buccleuch, Randburg (Head Office), Fairlands, Olivedale, Kemptonpark, Bedfordview and new schools to open.
Grand Master Leo Sebregts unfortunately Passed away on 27th October 2010 and will be greatly missed in the martial art world. he was involved with the Art of Energy Placement, commonly known as Feng-Shui, and founded Woodridge Palms Health Resort, a health resort and Spa, aimed at improving and strengthening the body and mind.
"His dream, born as a child, has been to create a wonder for many to see, letting them feel the harmony and tranquillity man should know."
In saying that Sifu Frank and Sifu Bruce Have taken over the responsibilties of running the Shaolin Martial Art Centres.
