Our Orthopaedic Surgeons offer general and specific surgery, not only to the sports person, but also to the individual that may not play sport at all. International accreditation has been obtained for the training of fellows in arthroscopy and sports orthopaedics.

Surgery is carried out at the Netvare Rosebank Hospital, which has acquired the the latest technologynecessary for specialised arthroscopic techniques, as well as the post-operative care of the patient.
Sports Medicine
The Sports Physician acts as a gatekeeper to the clinic, assessing, treating and coordinating the management of all acute and chronic injuries in professional and amateur athletes alike. He also manages medical conditions related to exercise such as exercised-induced asthma, chronic fatigue and overtraining syndrome. Sports Injuries will be assessed and will be managed non-surgically.
Not only does the Sports Physician deal with injuries but he also integrates advice on nutritional and psychological needs of the athlete.
Individuals that are not necessarily sports people can also see the Sports Physician, as he also deals with life-style management programmes for individuals and companies aimed at preventing cardiac problems, stress and cancer-related illnesses.
