Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, the company prides itself on creating innovative, story-driven content. Besides producing a significant number of South Africa’s groundbreaking documentaries and drama series, Born Free Media also provides a creative hub that develops magazine, sports and reality shows, commercials, and multimedia campaigns.
Established in January 2005, Born Free Media ranks as a Level-2 Broad-based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) company. Its three key shareholders are Executive Producer Carolyn Carew, Creative Director Khalo Matabane, and Financial Manager Tsholo Mashile.
